Our reversible jackets do just that – delivering options that go well with everything you already own, plus it will an excellent (and all-natural) layer for when the weather turns chilly.

Add layers to a midi dressMidi dress

Just because summer is over doesn’t mean we won’t have anymore sunshine this year. You can still keep summer close with a printed midi dress. After rocking it during the warmer months, you can safely transition your favourite dress into autumn with ankle boots. Don’t be afraid of colours, as some days you need all the brightness you can get. And on days when there is a bit of a chill in the air, all you need to do add another layer. By layering your midi dress with a jacket and a neck scarf, you can definitely enjoy it for a little while longer (that is until your heavy winter dresses come along!)

Basic natural tops

No matter the weather, everyone needs a basic top! You can easily transition into autumn with a plain top when you pair it with a long-line cardigan or a gilet over a pair of denim jeans. The “long over lean” rule can work wonders with any body type and will complement any figure. You can try a top in a basic colour, such as black or cream, or go for autumnal hues and rich, jewel tones. Selecting tops in natural fabrics, such as cotton, silk and bamboo, is always a good option. These materials allow your skin to breathe which is ideal when you’re wearing multiple layers.

A great pair of jeans

A pair of denim jeans are always needed, no matter the weather. From casual Fridays and relaxed weekends to all of your off-duty occasions, denim jeans are great and are a staple item to help you easily transition into autumn. Swap your light tops with cosy knits and a scarf and you will be set to go! The best part of wearing your jeans is that you can pair them with any type of footwear, from flats and your favourite pair of brogues to ankle boots, as the weather temperatures drop.

Accessorise with a scarf

Nothing says autumn-appropriate outfit detail more than a scarf! You can wrap up, keep yourself warm and stay stylish (and unruffled) all day long! Your statement scarf can be worn in lots of ways and you can even attach it to the handle of your bag to score major styling points. Casual or dressy, a silk scarf will elevate your autumn style with minimal effort. Don’t be afraid to mix colours or prints; a silk scarf is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

Lightweight cotton knits

Flats can help you transition seamlessly to autumn and actually look effortless while you are doing it! Comfortable and warm, a pair of flats can help you tie an ensemble together easily. A go-to handbag

Making the transition from summer to autumn can be as simple as choosing a roomy handbag as an everyday carryall. It can be a tote or a cross body handbag, but it will bring an outfit together excellently. It is a good idea to choose one in a classic colour, like black or navy or one in autumnal, deep hues, the result is a timeless and versatile addition to any outfit.

Forget about the rules

Don’t spend too much time on whether black and navy go together or different prints can match. The purpose of any outfit should be that you feel confident and look great, so choose something that allows for that. Invest in quality pieces, you can choose classic colours and opt for comfortable shapes and relaxed items that can keep you warm and stylish all season long. Most importantly, select clothes that make you feel good and that you enjoy wearing, whatever the weather.
