Silks look fabulous in creamy colours – another trend of next season. Calming hues like Mocha, Champagne and Malt all made an appearance. These work wonderfully combined together or as ideal partners for those brighter tones.

Taking its inspiration from nature, this season’s greens are vibrant without looking artificial – reflecting the beauty all around us and bringing holiday memories into our everyday outfits.  Ralph Lauren used soft Moss and Olive in his SS15 collection, producing a feminine military feel to these looks.

Cute culottes

At New York Fashion Week, designers such as J. Crew featured culottes. These wide-legged trousers, often knee-length creates the look of skirt, with a practical twist. It’s a great look to wear when out and about, producing a pretty silhouette. Creams, light blues and denims were the principle shades used here, and made this springtime look even more accessible.
