Delivering colour, cut and quality you can’t resist, Patra takes the catwalk looks and turns them into styles you’ll want to wear everyday
At Patra, we like to take influences from the designer catwalks but it is also paramount to us to create clothes that women want to wear and that make them feel confident and comfortable.
Thankfully, many of the colour trends, fabrics and styles seen on the SS15 runways are ones that, with a little help from Patra, will keep you looking stunning in 2015.
Here we bring you our take on this year’s top trends and our favourites from the new collection.
A silken touch
If Paris fashion week was anything to go by, silk is going to be a big trend for Spring/Summer 2015. From billowing floaty dresses to smart ties and sleek jumpsuits, designers such as Valentino, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney all showcased the wonderful versatility of silk.
It was a shimmering style that clearly seduced audiences at the catwalk shows, but it is also a look that can be emulated for an effortless, easy-to-wear elegance.
One of our favourite silk pieces from our new collection are these Pure Silk Pull-on Trousers. They’re cool classics that feel amazing. Ideal for your holiday wardrobe, their soft pull-on waist adds comfort to this elegant piece. These trousers, in pure noil silk come in a wide colour palette including two of next season’s stars –Turquoise and Navy Blue.
Blue beauties
Another cool Spring/Summer outfit which encapsulates both the blue hues and the silk trend is this stylish Patra Silk Dress. This much-loved classic dress, which customers can’t seem to get enough of, is now available in both Blue and Aqua. And it’s easy to see why it’s such a firm favourite – incredibly flattering, with a modesty inset panel, this dress is ideal for holiday trips, and as it’s made from silk you’ll feel fresh and comfortable all day long.
Another piece showing its support of the blue trend is our Cotton-Linen Dress. It’s available in three shades of blue – Stellar, Blue Sand and Airforce, as well as an array of shades from other pretty palettes.
Naturally neutral
Although nearly every shade of blue imaginable was spotted on the SS15 runways, neutrals also proved to be a big hit. Worn from head-to-toe or offsetting a brighter shade, these naturally calming tones make for classic pieces that never go out of fashion.
It’s a palette that works so well with what we love to do at Patra – producing timeless, versatile items, pieces that slot into your wardrobe with ease.
You’ll notice Creams, Coffees and other mellow colours making appearance throughout our collection, and this Pure Silk Noil Overshirt is already proving popular. Worn alone or over a jersey tee, it’s a piece that will come in handy for months to come. This one in a lovely Latte with a Batik-inspired print is right on trend.
Pretty in Pinks
Colourful bohemian style was also one paraded down the runways of SS15. Mui Mui and Chanel choose floaty 70s-inspired arty looks, often in pinks and reds. Maxi skirts, floral dresses and sheer layers fluttered down the catwalks and are bound to be appearing on the high street soon.
Autumn/winter saw bright reds such as Paprika, Squash and Tangerine, and this theme is set to continue. But you can also add pinks to the mix – delicate and ladylike colours that are the ideal shades for your summer dress.
Our incredibly cute Trellis Print Dress is an example of how easy pinks can be to pull off – and this Ash Rose shade looks great on any skin tone – brightening up your day, it a pretty and delightfully simple dress.
We think you’ll also love this dress, with it’s flattering shape and cut, it’s wonderfully comfortable and makes a casual yet chic statement.
From brilliant blues to gentle pinks and creams – we’ve picked classic colours to use in the new collection. Not only are they shades that can be worn day-to-day but they also go so well with pieces from our range. It includes items such as dresses, trousers and overshirts in pure silks – all demonstrating Patra’s keen attention to detail and love of all-natural fabrics.
It is this ethos, our mission to produce wearable, sophisticated fashion that is really at the heart of our collection. Our determination to produce beautiful items has never been more apparent. Pretty, pure and versatile – welcome to Spring-Summer 2015 – we couldn’t be more proud.
